INTERESTING VAT

In early 2019, new regulations in the UK changed how VAT Returns could be submitted to HMRC.
After requests from local businesses we developed Interesting VAT which provides a simple web interface for submitting VAT returns within the Making Tax Digital framework.
The system is designed for businesses who already keep appropriate digital records, but don't use accounts software that will submit their VAT return directly to HMRC.
Being brutally honest, in the context of our aim to make digital products that are "useful, entertaining, and beautiful" Interesting VAT probably leans slightly towards "useful" rather than "entertaining", but I'm afraid there's only so much we can do within the VAT system. All ideas on how to make VAT entertaining or beautiful gratefully received!
